Jaffna Heritage Hotel

The stay was enjoyable as it made exploring the nearby Nallur temple quite convenient, being just a short walk away. The spacious deluxe triple room was a perfect retreat after all the sightseeing, and the quality of the furniture added a touch of elegance. I particularly loved the breakfast. the variety of traditional Sri Lankan dishes was a delightful way to start the day. The staff was quick to address any minor room issues, and I appreciated their willingness to ensure a comfortable experience overall.

my favourite property in jaffna. surprising and fairly clean hotel with a great value. lovely location, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from jaffna archaeological museum. good restaurant for lunch and dinner.

I faced several annoyances . The reception's phone rang at 6am, waking me up with its loud tone, and the staff outside my room were far from quiet at that hour. I found the pool area to be poorly maintained. The loungers were muddy, crammed beneath overgrown trees.

The room was nice, but the bathroom had some wear and tear.

Staying at Jaffna Heritage felt special. The pool offered a fantastic spot to unwind after exploring. The room was spacious with excellent quality furniture. Housekeeping kept everything nothing messy. Breakfast really stood out. The traditional Sri Lankan dishes were delicious, though some curries were served cold. Minor issues included some ants in the bathroom and a tiny bit of water damage in the room. Pricing felt higher than what was initially booked, disappointing. A charming blend of comfort and tradition, just a short bus ride from Jaffna city center.

I was impressed by the super friendly and warm staff, especially the Manager, Mr Wije. The breakfast was a good array of traditional vegetarian dishes, including homemade varieties, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The peaceful ambiance added to my relaxation.

Bathrooms could use an upgrade.

The breakfast was the highlight, with a range of delicious traditional Sri Lankan dishes, although some curries could be warmer. The staff was attentive, assisting us with everything from transport to local sightseeing.

The breakfast was very tasty and delicious, with a wide range of good foods. It is a perfect and comfortable location close to Jaffna Public Library and other important places in the Northern peninsula. - the hotel is conveniently located near all major tourist attractions and good restaurants.

We enjoyed our three-day stay in a triple room that had tea/coffee facilities and a peaceful design.

The hotel offers amazing rooms and delicious food. Its location is perfect for visiting the Nallur Temple. The staff, including the friendly manager Vije and helpful staff member Wijey, provide excellent service. The hotel is situated in a peaceful area which is close to the town.

Felt special, no reason to complain.

The rooms at this hotel were surprisingly spacious and one of the biggest we stayed in during our trip. the authentic cuisine offered at the hotel's restaurant really showcased the unique flavors of the region. the hotel's location in the heart of the city, next to the Nallur Kovil, allowed us to truly experience the essence of Jaffna.

There was a cockroach in our room and the sink in the washroom had a drainage problem. These issues were a bit disappointing considering the overall quality of the hotel.
